MK-1 Control Unit

This Control Unit has a very accurate clock with a sleep feature that conserves battery power. A press of any button will wake the unit up! Six feeding times are available and the motor run time is programmable for each feeding. All settings operate forward and backwards. A progressive counter advances each time the unit feeds and a "smiley" face lets you know the solar panel is charging the battery. The press-to-test runs a complete system check and operates in conjunction with a motor delay safety feature adjustable from 0 to 99 seconds. There is a built-in lithium back up battery to hold settings when the feeder battery is disconnected. A five minute field repair is as simple as unplugging the electronic assembly and plugging in a new one. No soldering! All plastic used in Control Units is 100% Recycled Polycarbonate with UV inhibitors added (the same tough, flexible material that is used in safety glass).
